SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 27

Recognizing seven Wayne County teachers who have obtained certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

Whereas, Certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards is nationally recognized as a means by which teachers may enhance their professional skills and, subsequently, improve the education of their students; and
Whereas, There are seven Wayne County teachers who made the commitments necessary to obtain certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. These outstanding educators are William R. Chaffin, Barbara Christain, Dinah Ledbetter, Stephanie May, Jaylen Turner, Alicia Spears and Kelly Watts. These educators are to be commended for their dedication and commitment to the enhancement of their educational skills; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby recognizes seven Wayne County teachers who have obtained certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to each Wayne County teacher who obtained certification from the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards.
